We created a place where Mauldin, Greenville, and the surrounding Upstate community can experience world-class instruction in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment. That belief shapes every class we teach and every student we welcome onto the mats.

  • Is Reedy River Jiu Jitsu a good fit for someone who has never trained before?

    Yes. Most of our students walked in with zero martial arts experience. Every class is taught with true beginners in mind, and coaches meet you exactly where you are.

  • Does Reedy River Jiu Jitsu offer classes for the whole family?

    Yes. We offer programs for kids as young as four, teens, adults, women, and homeschool families, so parents and children can both train at the same academy.

  • Where is Reedy River Jiu Jitsu located?

    We're at 104 Miller Rd in Mauldin, SC, just minutes from I-385 and close to BridgeWay Station, Main Street in Mauldin, and Conestee Nature Preserve. Students regularly train with us from Greenville, Simpsonville, Five Forks, and across the Upstate.

  • Is jiu jitsu only for people who want to compete?

    No. While we support students who want to compete, most of our members train for fitness, self-defense, confidence, and community. Competition is always optional, never required.

  • What can I expect from the coaching staff?

    Our coaches bring years of competition and teaching experience to every class, and they're as invested in your growth off the mat as they are on it.
